Dr. Fran Eichler
Dr. Fran Eichler DDS received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she graduated at the top of her class. She completed a general practice residency at Long Island Jewish-Queens Hospital Center. Dr. Eichler has been practicing dentistry at her office in Smithtown, NY since 1985.
A fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, she gives charitable contributions to local organizations. Dr. Eichler is a member of the American Dental Association, Implant Study Club, Suffolk County Dental Society, Stony Brook Alumni Association and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Away from the office, she enjoys skiing, collecting bird stamps, bird watching, embroidery, reading (especially science fiction) and collecting seashells.

Dental Hygienist
I have enjoyed practicing as a dental hygienist for over 25 years. I obtained my Bachelors in Science in Dental Hygiene from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1990. My license allows me to deliver local anesthesia as well as the administration of nitrous oxide to my patients as needed. I am an advocate in the education of my patients on the benefits of a healthy mouth. I have happily provided quality dental hygiene here at Dr. Eichler’s office since 2001. I love gardening and traveling in my spare time.

Office Manager / Chairside Assistant
I started working with Dr. Eichler as a dental assistant in 1989. My sister was a dental assistant and I thought it seemed interesting. In 1993, I made the transition to Administrator, running the front office. Multi-tasking is my forte! This includes scheduling, financial aspects, insurance matters, and I still dabble in chairside assisting when needed. Outside the office, I enjoy boating and traveling!
